Peaches Uniforms Donates Uniforms & Lab Coats to Israeli Hospital

July 21, 2004 -- After participating in the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas' Business Executives Mission to Israel in February, 2004, Peaches' President, Barry Rothschild made the contribution, worth approximately $35,000, to the nursing professionals at the only hospital in the Western Galilee region. "Touring the Western Galilee Hospital facilities was an amazing experience. I was taken aback by the bravery of the staff, and felt donating uniforms was the least I could do to show how much I respect the great work they accomplish," said Rothschild.

Larry Schoenbrun, who co-chaired the Business Executives Mission with Ike Brown, added, "Our hope for the mission was to better acquaint Dallas business leaders with Israel and this is a perfect example of the synergy and goodwill that can result from such a meeting."

The Western Galilee Hospital is a modern 700-bed medical treatment, teaching and research facility. It serves a demographically mixed Israeli population of 450,000 people, including the local mosaic of Jews, Muslims, Christians and Druze, refugees from southern Lebanon and a large immigrant population from the Former Soviet Union and Ethiopia.
