RANIER UNIFORMS DESIGNS NEW, DIRECTIONAL COLLECTION
FOR MARRIOTT
Ranier's design team has been part of the process from the very early stages of the $35 million refurbishment project, which began in 2002 and was completed earlier this year, including a name change from Renaissance Sydney Hotel to the Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel.
In accordance with Marriott's up-market and unique interiors, Ranier's design team has successfully developed a uniform that captures elements of the traditional Marriott image coupled with various inspiring design details creating a visual impact that is both approachable and leading edge.
Jörn Heinrich, Director of Operations at the Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel, says about the project: "It has proved a valuable exercise to have Ranier directly involved with the interior design team and Marriott staff throughout the recent renovation process. It has brought us a uniform program that perfectly complements our interiors. Ranier has been supplying us with uniforms for all front and back of house areas for the past couple of years, and the standards of uniforms has consistently been at a very high level, leading to satisfied internal customers and hotel guests".
Ranier Custom Uniforms has been servicing the hospitality industry for more than thirty years and specializes in uniform design with forward-thinking design and high quality manufacture. In addition to the Marriott projects, the client base of Ranier Uniforms counts a number of four and five star properties including Hilton and Four Seasons Hotels as well as Casinos such as Caesars Palace and Mirage.
"It is extremely important for a property to have a fully integrated design solution that considers the importance of the employees and which reinforces the high levels of design expressed in the interiors of the property", Ross McKay, Ranier's president says. "The uniform solution should also deliver a great sense of esprit de corps and thereby provide enthusiasm and productivity. With the Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel, we had the opportunity to work closely with the interior designers and we developed our concepts according to their visions right from the word go. The results have proved to be a balanced and strong facet of the whole Marriott property image."
