Ranier Design Group Unveils A Fresh New Look For Radisson Plaza Resort Tahiti
Sydney, Australia June 26, 2004 -- Australian uniform design specialists, Ranier Design Group, has unveiled an appropriately sophisticated uniform range for the soon to be launched Radisson Plaza Resort Tahiti.
The Radisson property joins many of the world's leading hotels in appointing Ranier Design Group to mastermind a selection of classic frontline garments.
General Manager of the Radisson Plaza Resort Tahiti, Mr Philippe Guitton said, "We selected Ranier Design Group because of their international reputation for superior service and unfailing quality. The entire process from design through delivery was flawless and we are thrilled with the end result – one month until opening and our service team are well equipped to make a striking visual statement."
Ranier's Director of Design, Caroline Casaceli, said the uniforms designed for Radisson Plaza Resort Tahiti reflected the sophistication of the stylish five star resort, whilst also incorporating a subtle island theme.
"Whenever we embark on a new design contract we liaise with the hotel's architect, interior designers and management team to ensure our design is in keeping with the product's unique style. We're also very committed to the needs of employees; the uniform must create a high visual impact but at the same time be functional and comfortable".
When developing the design for the Radisson Plaza Resort Tahiti, Casaceli focused on two major design objectives. The first was to set a new benchmark in resort apparel. The second was to minimise the effects of the Tahitian climate.
"The climate in Tahiti is extremely humid and as operational staff are physically active throughout the day, it was absolutely essential to use fabrics that breathe. To allow maximum ventilation, we combined all natural fibres with a single layer design.
In terms of developing a design that reflected the resort's interior, we selected neutral, earthy colours that emulate the surroundings and we used subtle shell embroidery to provide an island motif that can be carried across the entire uniform range. The result is a classic elegance that is perfectly suited to this upscale new resort," Casaceli said.
Ranier Design Group has more than thirty years experience in custom designed uniform solutions. Their ‘design-led' philosophy combined with a commitment to quality production processes has earned them an international reputation for excellence. Ranier's world-wide client portfolio includes properties within the Raffles, Marriott and Four Seasons hotel groups, as well as premier gaming venues - Caesars Palace, The Mirage and Treasure Island, Las Vegas.
